The Skipper

I grew up on an island in Maine, and my family was always mucking around in boats.   I only really got in to racing when I went to college, and sailed competitively at Tufts University throughout my time there.  After graduation, I lived in the Caribbean for a bit, and delivered boats up and down the East Coast.   I was in St Barth’s for the finish of the double-handed Figaro AG2R in 2008, and have been wanting to do more shorthanded ocean racing ever since.

I moved to San Francisco in the beginning of 2009, and have been sailing as much as possible.   I finally came across the opportunity to get a Mini last fall, and jumped on it.    I’ve had the boat in the states since December, 2009 and have been working full time to get it ready to move to France.

The boat is on its way to France, and I’m trying to stay busy until I head over to join it in Feb.
